My husband was going to do it freehand but I made him watch your video. We did it your way and it worked beautifully. You have a nice voice-redo your video and do the voice-over! Hello. It looks like my comment didn't post. I have the same teppanyaki, but when I bought it from a remainder shop, they sent the wrong control box. By the time I got to install it and discovered the box was wrong, the company I bought it from was out of business. Any idea where I might find a used one of these to get a set of controls? Thanks!!

So much effort. And by now, he may need to replace the Insinkerator. Those things wear out and they don't sell parts. You need to put in a new one instead. That's why it's better to just get an always on keep warm hot water pot.

Thank You for fixing my 60" Sony KDS-60A2000, would never in a million years thought of that, I didn't have any superglue, so I used a very small piece of scotch tape and wrapped it tightly around the stem then replaced the door. the set is now 16 years old!!! Thanks Again, Steve!

Just did the job. Thank you! I did not remove the side fairing. I only removed the black plastic holding the glovebox, then i unscrewed the two bolts holding the foam bracket and moved it out of the way.. then its easy pulling the filter from there. There is enough room. The only hard part is getting the bolt off the bottom of the foam bracket, that just took mechanical experience...

I have a Shimano FH-M465 hub. When I tighten the lock ring, it has a rachetting click as if there’s some sort of internal torque stopping mechanism. I’m not using a torque wrench. I’m using a spanner wrench. Is this normal?

good job!!!! Get rid of the K&N filter see Project Farm on u-tube for air filer tests!!! The K&N will increase HP 2-5 and it does so because it allows bigger particles into your motor!!! Not Good.

Steve - my dad served as a staff officer for your dad for many years back in Binghamton. I got to meet him on several occasions. He was always generous, kind and fascinating to talk to. My dad often credits General Garrison with making him the successful officer he became. They both retired and then passed within a year of each other. Thank you for sharing this. I was just telling a colleague about your dad's mentorship of mine and just did a Google search to see what would come up. He was a great soldier and a better man.

Your video is the first that I found of many regarding the Shimano cassettes that mentions the smooth spacer; and that is the one thing, (when I took this apart in the dark), that I did not see where it came from exactly. Thanks much. I have the CS-5700. I'm 95% sure it is the same config.

Hello , on my tv the trip assembly on the door microswitch vanished, can't understand where it went ! So, I watched that indian fellows video about jumpering the plug but had no jumpers, figured out the quickest fix tho, after finding the correct grey and white wires, I stuffed some pieces of aluminum foil into the plug packing it tightly... Wallah.... Worked !!! While I was at it I did the other microswitch plug just in case. This old full featured top of the line Sony still looks and sounds great. Thanks for that long ago video tho !

Since a template was used to cut the hole, the pilot bit could have and should have been removed from the core drill.

The problem with mine was very simple. I called a mechanic home, all he was cleaned the connectors inside and plugged them back in. This fixed it. He said the connectors were probably corroded leading to poor conduction. This triggered the protection mode turning on in the TV. So next time, I will definitely open it up myself, clean the connectors carefully and put them back in place. Hope it helps
